Zhdanov, Leningrad – Slavny 6.08.1973-30.09.1975, Smyshleny 22.11.1972-25.12.74, Ognevoy 10.02.1971-29.12.1973, Shipyard named after 61 kommunara, Nikolaev – Stroyny 8.12.1975-14.07.1981, Smely 11.12.1972-30.12.1974. Upgraded to Project 61M. Gas turbines was replaced by M-3E, GTG by GTU-6A (Smyshleny – GTU-6M2). Smely, Stroyny, Smyshleny – PTA-52-1123/2, Slavny, Ognevoy - PTA-53-61. On Ognevoy - 2 MR-300 Angara air/surface search radars: in 1982 was replaced by MR-310 Angara-A and MR-500 Kliver 1.02.1980-3.12.1982. On Slavny PK-16 was not installed. On Smely VGS-2 Oka-M sonar. Project 01090 – 1 unit: Smetlivy, Sevmorzavod named after S. Ordzhonikidze, Sevastopol, 19.02.1987-1995. Stern AK-726, RBU-1000 and helipad for Ka-25 helicopter was removed, added MNK-300 Kayra sonar, MR-212 Vaygach navigation radar instead of 2 Volga navigation radars, PK-10 Smely decoy RL (4 KT-216 launchers), PK-16 decoy RL (4 KL-101 launchers). Project 01091 – 0+1 unit: Sposobny, Sevmorzavod named after S. Ordzhonikidze, Sevastopol, from 30.07.1987. Stern AK-726 and helipad for Ka-25 helicopter was removed. For a new anti-submarine sonars trials.
